Every staff member was pleasant and helpful The breakfast set up was perfect and the breakfast food cooked lovely

First door on entry is extremely heavy,lobby was cold when having a drink Family room was down two lots of steps,didn't realise this when booking not ideal with a baby buggy and suitcases. Shower was lovely and hot but edges could do with deep clean same with soap tray,rusted not clean finish look....the lighting in the pool area so dark and dim,very dated.

Large bedroom including bath and shower.. Good breakfasts. Staff helpful. Quiet and relaxing

Building felt a little tired. Shower was ok but small footprint and difficult to get into. Plenty of space to increase size. Hairdryer did not work.

The staff were very friendly.

My key card, it took about 5 attempts and new cards to get in to my room.

Restaurant was top class. Great selection and great value. Breakfast was good. Just wish they had HP Sauce, not the other brown sauce they had

The food in the hotel was amazing. We tried the following dishes, steak, duck spring rolls, spicy wings, steak burger, eton mess, chocolate brownie. All was 10/10 Location to outdoor activities and also night life is perfect.

There was no notice before booking this hotel to make us aware the Jacuzzi was out of order, even though it was booked at least 4 days before we made the booking. This was actually the main reason why we chose this hotel, purely based on the leisure centre as we need to be warmed after spending hours on end outside hiking in Nov. As it was nearly a 4 hour drive from home we would not have booked this knowing in advanced. luckily for the food and location this kept me from losing it. We asked everyday but they were waiting on a part! I'm sure this was included in the hotel price but unfortunately we are unable to use the facilities between broken hot tub and kids club in the pool, I would advise to show your guests a time table for when you can actually use the pool esp when hot tub out of order. it's 11 a day fee, we would have used it everyday for 4 days, no connession offered. I would have given this hotel a solid 9/10 overall if it wasn't for the hottub. As it was the main attraction for us to make that journey I can only give a 5/10 overall.

Friendly helpful staff, very comfortable room, I would stay there again, in the summer time, hopefully.

It was a bit of a hike from reception to my room but that is to be expected in a big hotel

Staff were simply the best , friendly helpful and cheerful. Ate in the bar and it also was brilliant, compliments to the chef , no complaints whatsoever

Pillows

The spa area was very "old/used" and not clean. Children were jumping over the heads of the people in the water, nobody cared. All in all not a very pleasant place at all. A lot of things are broken already and would need fixing. Breakfast is not really cheap but the selection is very small, not good at all. After the first day we had breakfast at a nearby hotel...much better!

The breakfast was great...the pool with steam room and sauna room was a bonus..and ofcourse the staffs were friendly

It was coldl when we arrive in our room.cos d heater wasn't turned on..we have to ring the receptionist to sort it out

Very relaxed atmosphere, Staff were very friendly, always had a hello. Very welcoming to our two boy's. A very clean hotel and the pool was clean and warm for the kids.

Lighting at reception and the foyer was very dull during the day and especially at night, giving a gloomy cold feeling.

Heating on a timer so cold in room when not on. Room telephone didn’t work. Tv didn’t work over 2 nites. No shower gel provided. Very expensive for what was provided.
